i usually dont do this but umm yea............

the other day i was told, "dont forget about everything that happened".. i didnt forget but i try not to think about it because its only gonna stop me from moving forward. the past is the past & whats done is done... but i REFUSE to go thru the same shit twice, i PROMISED myself to never get hurt again.

i chose to talk back to him cuz honestly i never got over him & some people always deserve a second chance, as of now we just cool, which i dont mind, but im selfish and i want him to be all mines :)  but i guess that takes time, i dont wanna move to fast and i dont wanna get my heart broken again.

so many thoughts are running thru my head. i cant even express myself right.

okay so i guess what im tryna say is.. i forgive YOU for what happened in the past, i cant fully forget what YOU did but i wont throw it in your face either.      I've matured from experience and learning from my mistakes. I really think thats the only way for someone to mature. Ima point out my mental & emotional maturity 

   Mentally.... my whole mentality changed, i look at everything from a different perspective. i think before i speak more often. I somehow have some real shit to say (wisdom) lol. I dont hold grudges. I forgave people that really hurt me in my past even tho i didnt get an apology (forgive & forget). i dont judge people based off their looks, its personality that really counts. i dont give a eff what nobody says or thinks about me :)    

  Emotionally.... One time i thought i was really feeling some guy & thought i was falling in love, psssh, Lust & Love are 2 totally different things. i fully understand the difference now...i learned not to take everything to heart, especially criticism.. i learned to express myself a lil better thanks to dis blog site! :)


i thinks more i can add but its like 4 in da AM, & im a lil tired so ima leave it at dis for now. I'll edit later.

S T U B B O R N

     I'll admit it im STUBBORN, when it comes to alot of things.. especially when im mad at someone. I, personally, don't like being mad at people, especially family members. When i get mad at loved ones, i try not to be mad at them for a long period of time, a week is long for me. 
     In Developmental Psychology class (04.05.2010), a group presented a slideshow about death. & when one of the dudes announced to the class that the last time he talkEd to his uncle was when he called while he was getting his hair done & he told his uncle he was going to call him back later, then next week he gets a call informing him that his uncle was shot dead... once he told us that i was like damn, what if the last time he talked to his uncle & they got in an argument and exchanged a couple of words, instead of telling him he was goin to call him back. 
     At that moment I of thought of all da times i was mad at my sister, brothers, mama, cousins, friends, etc. that "what if" always sits in the back of my head. i wouldn't know what to do if that was to happen to me. im mad, well scratch that, i WAS mad at someone and we aint on good terms yet, but my STUBBORN ass wont come forward and settle things. but i should because that "what if" is in da back of my head been bugN me since Monday!  

?? What Should I Do ??

so i went to the recruiter today, when i walked in i let him know that i was currently in school and i wanted to join the Air Force and pursue my goal as becoming a Nurse and also finishing up school in the Air Force, once i told him that he replied, "oh thats easy".. so he had me fill out a information sheet to see if i was qualified, which i was, den he asked if i didn't mind taking a practice ASVAB test, i had no problem with that, but i had already took one in high school which is good for 2 years, when i told him that he made it seem as if he couldn't get with another recruiter from Newport News, VA to fax him my score or anything. anyways on the practice test i scored a 45, on the real ASVAB test i would need a score of 50, which I'm sure i scored higher than that on the one i took in high school, anyways once i finished the test i sat there waiting on him to finish talking to another girl, and i over heard him saying that its not guaranteed that she will get the job she wanted which was Nursing, he said people should come in with an open mind for other jobs, and that the medical/health jobs would be hard to get in to, so once i heard that i was unsure if i wanted to go or not.


Once i left the recruiter office i called my big sis back, cuz i missed her call while i was taking the test, soon as she answered, she asked why i wanted to join, i told her the reasons (which is explained in the blog post below this one) and she basically said why dont i transfer to a school closer to home or go to a community college so ill be able to work, get my license, and still study for Nursing. She really didnt want me to go because of the simple fact that i could be deployed, & what sister really wants her lil sis over in Iraq or Afghanistan and having to worry everyday that they are still breathing and is doin okay. then i talked to my sis friend, and she told me if thats what i wanna do then go for it, but just keep the war in mind and weigh out my pros and cons.


then i talked to my big cousin and she told me that its a good look but its really dangerous over there, she been in the Army for 3 years now and said that it wasnt a joke over there, she told me what she been through and that scared me a little, all i could think about is, what if i go and something bad happens, its not like im  not on the right track now its just that it would be betta if my school was payed for and i was still getn paid at the same time, ill be set. but then what if i join and never be able to even go to school, my cuzN that just got back from the Air Force, joined for the same thing and has been in for 2 years, her 3rd year is coming up and she still didnt go to school, the military keeps you busy she has been stationed everywhere and deployed and is now back at home working 12 hour shifts, so she has no time for school.


SO HERE ARE MY OPTIONS!


1. join the Air Force, try to get a medical job (which i really want), if not then choose from what else is offered to me, then go to school, or if i get deployed pray that i make it back and then hopefully i'll have time for school


2. transfer to a community college or a university close to home, study Nursing, get a job, get my license, & stack up my $$ for a car


& honestly right now, im leaning towards #2 ! 
but dont be shy, leave comments, advice, tips, etc. my eyes are open to read them all =)

I've been doing some thinking and i think i wanna join the [Air Force]. Im in school now, but this ish is expensive. i be needing $$ , but i try not to ask my mom & dad because they have bills to pay and they pay my cell phone bill while im in school. i would get a job, but no car, and the buses stop running up here at 6. if i was to join the [Air Force] they would pay for my school and the loans that i took out for this year, and i would be getting paid all at the same time. the only thing im nervous about is Basic Training, hopefully i can pass that, im pretty sure i can if i just put my mind to it, & plus i'll be getN in shape before i go there anyway. so yeah, i think ima go thru with this plan, im going to talk to a recruiter 2mrw, so i will defiantly keep yall updated.
